LIGHTLas SLT Deux-V
SLT/YAG Combination Laser with CrystalQ™ Precision Pulse Technology. Clinical Versatility with Cutting Edge Innovation.
LIGHTLas SLT Deux-V
SLT/YAG Combination Laser
The LIGHTLas SLT Deux-V is a fully integrated slit lamp laser platform that combines SLT and Nd:YAG photodisruption in one compact system, with expandable tri-laser architecture allowing the addition of a photocoagulator. Designed for versatility and efficiency, it delivers comprehensive anterior segment and glaucoma treatment from a single, streamlined console.
- Effective First-Line IOP Reduction: Safely lowers intraocular pressure in open-angle glaucoma by stimulating the eye’s natural biological response, delivering medication-level results without incisional surgery or daily drops.
- Gentle and Repeatable Treatment: Non-thermal, tissue-sparing technology minimizes damage, allowing treatments to be safely repeated when clinically necessary with fewer systemic side effects.
- Comprehensive Anterior Segment Treatment: Integrated Nd:YAG capability allows precise posterior capsulotomy and peripheral iridotomy for angle-closure glaucoma within one unified system.
- Tri-laser upgradeability: expandable platform grows from SLT/YAG to a full tri-laser system with photocoagulator, maximizing your investment.
- CrystalQ™ Precision Pulse Technology: precision-engineered optics for consistent energy delivery.
- Precision Optical Performance: A high-resolution LED slit lamp and premium optical components deliver superior visualization and seamless operation, enhancing diagnostic precision at a comfortable working distance.
Selective Laser Trabeculoplasty
SLT is the standard of care for primary open-angle glaucoma. The procedure stimulates the body’s own natural defense and healing mechanisms to lower intraocular pressure, as effectively as medication, with no laser-induced damage, fewer side effects, and the ability to repeat treatment when needed.
Reduce Patient Medication Burden
SLT can reduce or eliminate the need for daily eye drops, offering patients greater convenience, financial savings, and improved quality of life. For physicians, SLT provides a reliable first-line therapy with well-documented long-term IOP reduction.
Integrated Nd:YAG Photodisruptor
Treat secondary cataract (posterior capsulotomy) and narrow-angle glaucoma (peripheral iridotomy) without switching systems. Quick, in-office procedures that restore clear vision for patients, with +/-500µm posterior/anterior offset for precise focal point control.
Tri-Laser Upgradeability
Modular design expands from SLT/YAG combination to a full tri-laser system by adding a LIGHTLas 532nm, 577nm, or 810nm photocoagulator. One platform that grows with your practice, maximizing the value of every install while giving patients access to more treatments in a single location.

Supporting Research for SLT & Glaucoma Laser Treatment
SLT has been extensively studied as a first-line and adjunctive therapy for open-angle glaucoma. Below are published studies conducted with LIGHTMED laser systems.
