SL 990 Series Slitlamps
The SL 990 series is characterized by a modern optic project and uses a multilayered antireflection treatment that ensures a more effective transmission of light, thus improving the optic resolution and contrast by 20%. The optic quality of the SL 990 series moreover provides a 20% increase in optic transmission and a 10% enlargement of depth of field.
This series of Slitlamps utilize the "Haag Streit" style illumination system. The optical quality and multilayered antireflection treatment incorporated in the optics has ensured that these Slitlamps have superior optical efficiency with increased light transmission. Along with the designed expanded field of view this gives a clearer image and increase in the depth of focus possible.
The optics of the Galileian microscope (SL 980 3X and 5X) are characterized by the 8 degree convergence of the internal microscope path which this permits an improved image alignment thus reducing fatigue for the Doctor.
Microscope zoom
Continuous adjustment of the magnification, from 6X to 33X can be achieved when using the Zoom model, giving clear, brilliant and well contrasting images. All the accessories for the Galileian microscope can be used.
Illumination
The 12V 30W halogen bulb assures high quality color temperature. With the tilting device, the inclined light can be vertically projected up to 20degrees with 5 steps and this is very helpful in the horizontal optical observation, gonioscopy and posterior eye examination.

SL 990 VIDEO SYSTEM (refer to Model EILM 3970)
The SL 3990 series Slitlamps can be utilized with a video system to permit image acquisition and interpretation, the management of patient's hospital files, ophthalmic lenses and mounts.
The images can be acquired by a digital microcamera, analog monitor, video-recorder and color printer.
The binocular direct vision stereo microscope has been constructed with an optical system consisting of 1x and 6x power.
The 13¢X binocular angle enables a clear observation of the eye structures.
The microscopes can be provided with a special fitment that allows the use of a special microtelecamera(optional) that causes no interference to visual brightness for the observer.
Mirror with rear lighting
The 50% reflective treatment makes it possible to line up the microscope in perfect co-axiality with the slit projector, thus enabling the Doctor to get a better view of the red reflection. This makes it much easier to study brown or black eyes. . |
